Ways to interact with EducationUSA Advisers


EducationUSA Advisers are a great resource on the ground to discuss admissions trends, opportunities and updates on local economic and educational scenarios. You can connect with advisers through:

Meetings – you can request meetinhs with advisers in person or via skype.

Online sessions – EducationUSA Centers country-wide offer a number of online sessions. If you are interested in sharing your expertise through an online session, please contact reps@educationusa.org.br/home.

Conferences – EducationUSA Advisers from Brazil participate in a number of conferences. In 2016 advisers from EducationUSA in Brazil participated at NAFSA, EducationUSA Forum and OACAC. For information on 2017 conferences, please check back early 2017.

The Regional Educational Advising Coordinator (REAC) for the Southern Cone, Rita Moriconi, is also available at many conferences to connect with universities and to present on current trends in higher education for Southern Cone. The main conferences attended are NAFSA and the EducationUSA Forum.

Hosting Training Institute – EducationUSA facilitates several training institutes in the United States for EducationUSA advisers. Each two-week EducationUSA Training Institute comprises a Washington, D.C.-based workshop, with sessions at the U.S. Department of State, and campus-based training. The campus-based training week offers a unique opportunity for U.S. institutions to bring a group of EducationUSA advisers directly to their campuses.
